We have always suspected that Will may be a southpaw but now that he's doing more activities he really seems to favor his left hand. One of his favorite new tricks is to pick up and throw balls. Sometimes he can throw pretty far too and it's almost always with his left hand. When we color he usually picks up crayons with his left hand. I guess some kids still haven't committed to one hand or the other by this age but I would be pretty surprised if he doesn't end up a lefty.
Another thing Will started doing last week is dancing in his car seat. He bobs his head and kicks his legs. But apparently he has to really be inspired because I've had a hard time getting him to do it this week. I think it takes some Bruce Springsteen. The song he was really jamming to was "Dancing in the Dark." Who doesn't love The Boss?!
Another new and slightly troublesome skill is that Will can now climb onto all of our furniture- the couch, the recliner and the rocker in his bedroom. He can climb up onto all of them. Sometimes he sits and sometimes he stands up and tries to walk around. Whenever he gets up on the couch he tries to walk the length of it. It's a problem. He's been trying to climb up onto the tv stand and our bed but so far hasn't been able to do those yet. He can get down by himself and so far he hasn't tumbled off of anything. It's only a matter of time though.
Will has had a good week visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Dickinson. They are here until Tuesday so we are looking for some fun activities to do this weekend. David is also taking Monday off so Will gets some extra Daddy time.
